Northeast Indiana Bancorp—MicroCap Bank Idea

by hihih222

I think this might be a thrift conversion? I don’t really know and again I haven’t had the time to do my research. For learning reasons I’m trying to confine myself to market caps above around 200M so I probably won’t be having a lot of thoroughly researched microcaps on the site at least for a while. In any case, back to the idea.

NIDB(Northeast Indiana Bancorp) has a dividend yield of almost 5%. It sells for roughly 0.7x book value and ROE is roughly 7%-13% for the past few years. Consistently growing net income, so it definitely looks like a good company to look into. All these numbers are from Google Finance, so I hope they’re reliable, but ultimately you should check the filings.
